Before we discuss some actual Tactics Cards setup, we want to highlight a few of the Universal Tactics Cardsto better explain their use and how to make the most of it.

Universal – Hybrid Squad (4+1) Tactics Card (Mixed Squads)

#

The one and only Hybrid Squad (4+1) card will allow you to use one hero of a different type while maintaining the full 20% type boost you’d have with a single type squad. This card really changes the battlefield when using one of the mixed squad formations listed below:

  • Tank + AdamScarlett (important) + Murphy, Adam + Marshall + Kimberly (Scarlett + Adam synergy is nearly unstoppable and gives a huge boost against Aircraft)
  • Air + MurphyDVA + Lucius, Murphy + Morrison + Schuyler (Murphy keeps squad alive longer and providing physical damage resistance, recommended level 10 Exclusive Weapon but level 1already works wonders)
  • Missile + LuciusLucius + Swift, Tesla + Fiona + Adam (Lucius is an all-rounded and provides good stats to the team)

We highly suggest running a mixed squad formationduring the season as it allows you to better withstand counter types.

Universal – Counter Reversal

#

With the Counter Reversal card when you fight against a type that counters yours, you will deal increased damage while receiving reduced damage from their side. This card starts off at only a 1.5% on either side, but when leveled up it can really start to change those kind of battles in your favour. If you manage to get one with one or more “Tactics Card Level Up” it’s definitely one to keep in your setup.

Universal – Zombie Killer

#

The Zombie Killer card is very helpful early on in the season as it provides you with a buff during PvE battles. If this one is paired with the “Reduce Damage Taken from Monsters” SSR attribute or one or more “Tactics Card Level Up” attributes it can be a valuable asset when grinding first kill rewardsor to take down a specific stronghold boss! Don’t sleep on this one and make sure to upgrade it if you are a frontrunner in your alliance (you can always get the materials back later when dismantling).
